Retail Supervisor Kenora

Hours: part time position that could lead to full-time hours. Flexible hours and weekend availability needed.

Wage: Starts at $17.50 to $24.00/hr (wage based on experience)

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS: 

  • Must love craft beer! 
  • Have the knowledge and passion to discuss our beers with guests. 
  • Hire, train and manage a dynamic team focused on delivering a high-quality product and a positive customer experience. 
  • Manage some of the daily business operations including, but not limited to scheduling, inventory, regulatory compliance, and additional duties required to effectively run the smooth operations of the retail store. 
  • Assist the sales and marketing team to help promote the LOWBREWCO operations through community engagement, social media, and promotional activities, brand launches, development of merchandise and merchandising campaigns, and memorable guest experiences. 
  • Manage and improve customers service ratings (Google, Facebook, Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc.) 
  • Develop & maintain robust beer training for all staff in collaboration with the brewing team.  
  • Develop and lead a dockside program (kegerator for home consumers/cottagers). 
  • Support Community development Manager with retail-based community initiatives. 
  • Ability to resolve guests’ concerns or questions using good judgment. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and positively to our team members and guests. 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE JOB: 

  • Previous experience in retail, serving, or selling craft beer would be considered an asset. 
  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience would be considered an asset. 
  • Must be Smart Serve certified or willing to complete certification. 
  • Effective communication skills, team player attitude, and positive personality. 
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to exceed in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to self-motivate, maintain a sense of urgency, and keep momentum. 
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships. 
  • Task-orientated and excellent organizational skills.
